| Swaddlebees Cloth Wipes by Soft and functional, even after multiple washes |
First, if you're still deciding between cloth and disposable wipes:
I highly recommend you give these a try. We keep a peri bottle full of water next to the changing supplies to squirt baby's butt clean (he doesn't mind the cold, really!), then squirt water on the wipe to finish the job, throw it in the wipes bin, and you're done. One wipe per diaper change and no chemicals for baby's bum!
If you're already into cloth wipes, here's my Swaddlebees review:
I've tried several wipes (Wahmies-- too big and thick, Bumgenius bamboo-- too small and thin, and Thirsties-- don't hold up as well after multiple washes). Swaddlebees are juuust right. These wipes do a great job on breastmilk poops with water alone. They're the perfect size, two-sided/textured to match the job, and hold up well after multiple washes.
Since diaper service washes our diapers, we throw the used wipes in a Bummis Waterproof Bag (Medium for overnight-14"X18") then pre-soak them on laundry day and throw them in with the regular wash. They come out clean, soft and stain-free.

What I love about these wipes are the functionality. I use them not just for baby wipes but mostly as spit up cloths. They are thick enough to not soak through and are soft under the baby's face. I just lay two across my chest and whichever one the baby spits up on gets washed, that way I'm not washing such large cloths like most spit up rags.
There are two sides, one is smooth for a very soft clean up and the other textured for the harder to clean messes and they work very well. Both sides are fairly absorbent and feel wonderful against the skin. |

| Wow- These are so soft! I purchased some of each color and they are so pretty. They are organic which I love. One side is terry to help with messier messes and the other side velour on the other for polishing :-) They wash great and go right in with the diapers. We split the colors up and use some for the bottom end and some for bathing- they are so soft that the adults in the house have 'stolen' a few for their own washcloths! |
