| I purchased a pair of these Birkenstock Relax 200 sandals and was disappointed because the sandals became stringy around the sides of the sandals. It seems as though the quality was not there considering this was a pair of Birkenstocks. They just sit in my closet, I never wear them because of that. I usually love birkenstock shoes, but this has made me look at them differently! |

| I have worn Birkenstock for years. (Had foot surgery and my doctor recommended them) But this is the best price I've ever seen, and they fit and feel wonderful! I will purchase ALL my Birkenstocks from Amazon.com!! (After receiving this pair, I ordered another pair in another color!) |

These are good quality Birks, however it does not specify in the product description that the uppers are not leather but birko-flor. I was under the impression that they were leather. Good value none the less, besides, how could anyone give Birkenstock less than 5 stars.
Update... did not hold up. After about 4 months they started tearing up..I have never had a pair of birks disinegrate like these did. The uppers tore away from the soles and ripped up the cork. They are now strictly for the yard after a shoe-goo repair. Stick with leather. |
