We bought this item for our 2 1/2 year old as a duplicate for a pair of Stride Rite shoes purchased in a store. The old pair was getting a little bit worn, but not outgrown. These shoes didn't compare in any way. They were not labeled Stride Rite. They had tongues that were too puffy so they ended up wrinkled and caused a blister. They looked almost identical, but definitely were not. We would never purchase shoes from Amazon again, if it cannot monitor its suppliers. I would give this no stars, but it's not an option.
